ARMO Initiates Phase I trial of AM0010

Will establish safety and tolerability in patients with advanced solid tumors

ARMO BioSciences has initiated the first cohort of patients with advanced solid tumors in a Phase I trial of AM0010, a PEGylated form of recombinant human interleukin-10 (IL-10). Based on clinical and preclinical data, ARMO plans to develop the drug for indications including cancer, fibrosis, hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis and inflammatory diseases.

The Phase I trial is designed to establish the safety and tolerability of AM0010 in patients with advanced solid tumors. The company will also explore anti-tumor and biomarker responses to determine dose and potential patient stratification. The trial will enroll patients at four locations in the U.S.
